Mohammad Shafiqul Islam has been elected the Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Goods Exporters Association (BJGEA) for the term of 2020-2022. The directors of the executive board were elected him through vote held recently. Mohammad Shafiqul Islam is the Chairman of Dubai Jute and Bag Corporation, said a press release.
Other elected office bearers of the association were S. Ahmed Majumder, Senior Vice-Chairman of Combined Trade Link, HM Rezaul Karim of Biko Jute Fibers and Dara Al Masud Khan of International Sales Agencies also elected the Vice-Chairmen respectively.
The other directors of the 13-member board are Sajedur Rahman of Jute World Exports, Mohammad Maruf Hossain of Rainbow Associates, Syed Ali Alfe Sunny Akash of Beheshti Exports and Imports, Muridul Alam Chowdhury of Universe Jute Fiber and Bag Corporation. Sk. Wahiduzzaman of Purobi Trading, Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman of Eco Bangla Jute Limited., Dr. Mainul Hasan Chowdhury of Kaplan Jute Limited, Bibek Saha of Orko Enterprise and Israt Jahan Chowdhury of Tulika.
