May 6 was birthday of popular film actor Omar Sani who turned into 51 on that day. To celebrate the day, he along with his wife Moushumi and their children organized a get-together party at his residence in the city’s Uttara area on that night.
Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Suchonda, Bobita, Ilias Kanchan, Champa, Bapparaz, Aruna Biswas, Shabnaz-Naim, Amit Hasan, Amin Khan, Ankhi Alamgir, Samrat, Shabnur, Sahara, Odhora, Chanchal and Raina Mahmud, Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, among others, were present on the occasion.
After cutting cake, Protik Hasan and Luipa rendered song on the stage. During the break time of their performance Moushumi and Shabnur also rendered song in the programme. Omar Sani also gave his voice during their performances. Everybody enjoyed the event.
