On October 2, 1991 late Ehtesham directed movie Chandni was released with a new pair in big screen. During that time songs and making of the movie and acting of a new pair, Shabnaz-Naim attracted the viewers.
With the appearance of Shabnaz and Naim a new era began in the film industry during that time.
Later viewers loved to watch them on the screen as a pair in many movies.
On October 2, Shabnaz and Naim celebrated silver jubilee of their acted first movie Chandni. In this regard, they are going to arrange a get together party who were related with the movie. Both Shabnaz and Naim confirmed the matter yesterday.
Today Shabnaz and Naim are going to step into 23 years of their conjugal life. On October 5, 1994 Naim tied the nuptial knot with Shabnaz. They are parents of two daughters.
While talking about the celebration of silver jubilee of Chandni, once popular hero Naim told this correspondent, “Chandni has already crossed 25 years. Our mentor Mr Ehtesham is not alive now. But we always miss him. In fact, there is no scope to avoid his contribution in the film industry. To celebrate the silver jubilee, we are going to arrange a get together party where everybody who were related to this movie are expected to be present. Everybody pray for us.”
Actress Shabnaz shared her feelings by this way, “Today is our marriage anniversary. Everybody pray for us as we can remain well and lead a happy life in the long run. We will arrange a get together party on the occasion of celebration of silver jubilee of Chandni. Hopefully it will become a successful arrangement.”
Shabnaz and Naim also announced that they are interested to remake Chandni with a new dimension. When it will be finalised they will disclose its details.
After releasing Chandni, this popular pair also gifted Dil, Sonia, Chokhey Chokhey, Bisher Banshi, Anutapto, Takar Ahankar, Sakkhat, Jeed, etc.
As a pair, they last worked together in movie Ghorey Ghorey Juddho.
Naim and Shabnaz separately worked in movies Meyerao Mastan and Azizur Rahman’s Daktar Bari respectively.
Later they did not see to work.
