Viewers’ choice popular actress Shabnam Parvin was excited to get the scope to work under Humayun Ahmed’s works for six years. She is very much emotional because of getting scope to act in Humayun Ahmed’s story based play Zahir Karigar. Earlier Humayun made it. This time Humayun’s assistant Ibrahim has made the play.
Shooting of the play began at Nuhash Polli in Gazipur in first week of this month. Shabnam Parvin is acting in role of Zahir’s maternal aunt in the play. Though she has been acting in big screen for many years but Shabnam Parvin did not perform with any ‘item song.’ Besides acting in role of an anti-heroine in Bashir Ahmed’s movie Aamar Kono Tension Nai, Shabnam Parvin also performed with an ‘item song’ with Nibedita Mou rendered a song. Recently she has finished its shooting.
While talking about her two different types of works Shabnam Parvin told this correspondent, “I acted in many plays and movies of Humayun Sir who has also created a hype and acceptance among the viewers about me. I am grateful to him in this regard. I acted in his play Turuper Tash one year ago of his death. After his death, I couldn’t act any of his work. I am very much delightful and also excited to work in his story based play Zahir Karigar. Therefore, I have also performed in an ‘item song.’ I believe viewers will appreciate my performance.”
Zahir Karigar will be aired on Channel i on Pahela Boishakh. Shabnam Parvin acted movie Swotta has been released on Friday. Earlier her acted movie Mayabini was released. Her acted first movie was KM Ayub’s Agun Pani. Shabnam Parvin is not only acting but also gave direction of plays. She has also performed in 200 theatre plays till now.
