As such, all the regions are now suffering from desert-like hot weather.
Sources from agriculture department said farmers were supposed to cultivate Aman paddy in 25 lakh hectors of lands.
But they are now cultivating the paddy in only one lakh hector of land by irrigation bearing extra cost.
They said if the rest land are brought under the cultivation with help of irrigation it will cost more than Tk 600 crore as additional cost.

About 400 millimeters were supposed to be found within July20. But it has recorded only 269.4 millimeters during the period.”
The met office official said that all of these are results of negative impact of the global climate change.
Kamrul Islam said it was supposed to get temperature 32 to 33 degree Celcious in July in this
regionas normal account.
“But we recorded 37 to 39 degree Celcious temperature in the last several days,” Kamrul Islam said.
He said that it was supposed to record minimum temperature 22 to 25 degree Celsius in normal account, but it is recorded 27 to 28.5 degree Celsius in recent days.
The met official said such a abnormal temperature may be found in two or three days, but it has been recorded through out the July.
It has reflect a rough impact on paddy and jute farmers in the region.
Agriculturists, ecologists and farmers said that they used to cultivate Aman paddy with the help of rain water.
