A fugitive death-row convict of the sensational seven-murder in Narayanganj was held in Magura district on Sunday afternoon.
The arrested man has been identified as Enamul Kabir, 40, inhabitant of Shalikha Upazila of the district. He was posted at the Narayanganj-based RAB-11, when the gruesome murders took place in 2014, police said.

Magura district, said “A team of police raided a house of the Bhainar intersection of the district town and arrested him around 12:30pm.”
Enamul will be produced in a court at Narayanganj on Monday, the SP said.
When contacted, Narayanganj SP Mainul Haque, said that they had heard about the arrest of former Sergeant Enamul Kabir in Magura.
On January 16 this year, Enamul was sentenced to death over the killing of seven persons, including the then Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Panel Mayor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker.
Out of the 35 convicts, Enamul is one of them. Twelve convicts are still at large.
In the afternoon of April 27, 2014, City Councillor Nazrul and five of his associates were abducted from their car on the Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road.
Three days later, their bodies were found floating in the Shitalakkhya River.
