Seven matches of the EXIM Bank 26th National Handball competition (Men’s) were held on Tuesday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
Dhaka District team registered an exciting 33-27 goals win over Faridpur District in the day’s first fixture.
In the second outing of the day, Chittagong District recorded a comfortable 21-07 victory over Sunamganj district.
Jessore District did not have to sweat much as they beat Panchagarh District by 34-22 goals.
In the fourth match, Border Guard Bangladesh were in impressive form as they dump Dinajpur District by 55 -9 goals.
Bangladesh Police outplayed Dhaka District by 41-17 in the fifth encounter of the day.
Bangladesh Ansar scored an over whelming 59-13 win over Rajshahi district in the sixth match of the day.
While in day’s last fixture Sunamganj had to sweat hard as they beat Sunamganj by by 18-17 goals in a nail biting match.
A total of 29 districts teams from across the country, split into nine groups, are taking part in the competition, sponsored by EXIM Bank Limited and organized by BHF.
