CU Admission Test: Seven including BCL leader held for forgery

Police detained a total of seven people including a Bangladesh Chhatra League leader before giving proxies on the last day of Chittagong University’s ‘A’ unit admission test under 2017-18 academic session on Monday.
Police on Saturday night and Sunday morning held them On the basis of secret information before the start of admission test.
The detainees are ShahidullahNishat , a final year of IER of CU and assistant secretary of the suspended CU unit of Chattra League, Mohammad RaihanulHaque ,another 4th year of IER of CU, admission seeker Mohammad Raihan,Fahad, Saeed Al Kabir, MushfiqurSalehin , MizanurRahman and intermediarie of circle Tuhin , a final year student of Statistics of CU.
According to university sources, on the basis of secret information, 3 were detained from a residential building adjacent to the university Saturday night. At that time, the original mark sheet, registration, government stamps also recovered from them. on Sunday, The remaining 3 admission seekers and their intermediary Tuhin were held on the basis of phone call conversation.
CU Assistant Proctor LitonMitratold that, initially they said that they signed a contract of Tk. 3-5 lakhs per seat.
Shahidullah and Raihanul will fill them through proxy. We handed over them to the police.
Hathazari Police Station Officer-in-charge BelalUddin Jahangir told the New Nation that they were in the police station. The legal system is under process for them.
Earlier, On Friday night before C unit exam, police busted an admission forgery gang and assistant secretary of the suspended CU unit of Chattra League Istiyak Ahmad Sourov in connection with the admission forgery .latter ,he was expelled from BCl by central committee.
