The government has declared general holidays in seven areas of four more districts marking those as red zones in an effort to limit the coronavirus spread.
The areas located in Cox’s Bazar, Magura, Khulna and Habiganj districts, the Ministry of Public Administration said in an order on Tuesday.
Earlier, 12 areas of five districts, and 27 areas of 10 districts were announced as red zones respectively on Monday and Sunday. General holidays were also declared in the areas.
