Campus Report :On the eve of Eid-Ul-Fitre, Southeast University Social Welfare Club (SEUSWC) organized a program for distributing Eid clothing among destitute children as part of their social responsibility. A discussion meeting was also organized on this occasion, which was followed by Iftar. The program was taken place at the Seminar Hall of SEU at Banani in the city on Saturday. Vice Chancellor of SEU Prof Anwar Hossain was present at the program as Chief Guest and handed over colorful outfits among destitute children. Pro Vice Chancellor of SEU Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury and Chief Adviser of SEUSWC as well as Dean, SASS Prof Dr Md. Abdul Hakim addressed the program as Special Guests. Among others, Registrar of SEU Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, psc (Retd) and Dean, SBS Prof Dr Golam Ahmed Faruqui also addressed at the program, which was chaired by the Club Adviser and Chair of the Department of English Associate Professor Harunur Rashid Khan. Moderator of SEUSWC and Lecturer, SBS Md. Afnan Hossain delivered welcome address. Faculty Members, Club Members and students were present on the occasion.
