The orientation and freshers’ reception programme for the students admitted under summer semester-2014 in the ‘School of Science & Engineering (Departments of Textile Engineering, CSE, EEE, ETE and Architecture)’ of Southeast University (SEU) was held at the University Seminar Hall at its Tejgaon Campus in the city recently.
Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor of SEU spoke on the occasion as chief guest. Wing Commander Syed Ahmed Kabir (Retd.), fawc, psc, Chief Coordinator, Southeast University Trust, gave a brief introduction to the newly admitted students about the university. Prof Meer Mobashsher Ali, Chairman, Department of Architecture, Dr Md. Quamruzzaman, Chairman, Depts. of EEE & ETE, Shahriar Manzoor, Chairman, Dept. of CSE gave speech in the program where Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Dean (Acting), School of Science & Engineering chaired the occasion.
