The Walton 6th Services (Men’s & Women’s) Wrestling Competition starts tomorrow at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation will arrange the wrestling meet under auspices of Walton Group.
Regarding this competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Dhaka Metropolis Football League Committee in the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation Tabiur Rahman, Member of the Federation Nazrul Islam were present at the conference.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at Taka three lakh.
BGB, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP, Bangladesh Police will participate in the Men’s Group, while Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP, Bangladesh Police will take part in the Women’s Group.
The competition of the Men’s Group will be held in eight weight categories, while the meet of the Women’s Group will be held in eight weight categories.
The competition will come to an end on November 14.
