Press Information Department (PID), District Administration and District Information Office arrange a press Conference on Monday at the conference Room of Deputy Commissioner to observed the service week started from 20th march and will end in 25th March as the part of countrywide as the country has achieved the coveted status of a developing country getting out of the LDC block .

Deputy Commissioner added that Bangladesh has achieved three category as growth of per capita Income now 1610 US dollar,Human resource Index 72.9 , economic Vulnerability Index 24.8.
The DC added that Chittagong port is the gate way of Bangladesh about 80percent export was done by this port and Chittagong has a natural beauty surrounding by hill and sea. The present government has taken initiative to setup economic zone at Miressarai and began to start tunnel under Karnaphuli River. He declared to open a help desk for every section to help the mass people.
