The 14th National Senior-Junior Taekwondo Championship will begin today (Monday) at National Sports Council (NSC) gymnasium in the city.
Sponsored by Trust Bank, NSC Secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas is expected to inaugurate the two-day meet, organized by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF). BTF president Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal and general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana will also present in the inauguration ceremony, said a BTF press release.
Some five hundred boys’ and girls’ participants from different services teams, divisions and districts sports associations are taking part in the senior-junior event.
