Senior Division Football League begins today

The Dhaka Metropolis Senior Division Football League begins today (Friday) at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium with a lone match between Wari Club and Sadharan Bima Krira Sangstha.
The match will kick off at 3.45 pm.
Saif Powertec Limited, deputy managing director, Tarafdar M Ruhul Saif will formally inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
A total of 12 metropolis teams are taking part in the single league basis, sponsored by Siaf Powertec Limited. Each participating team in the league will have participation money.
After the league matches, the highest point’s achiever top two teams will be the champions and runners-up in the league and will be promoted to the Bangladesh Championship Football League while the two bottom-ranked teams will be relegated to Second Division Football League.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Thursday at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation to give all the details of the meet.
The participating teams are Wari Club, Badda Jagoroni Sangsad, Jatrabari Krira Chakra, Basabo Tarun Sangha, Dhaka Wanderers Club, Mohakhalai Ekadash, Dhaka United Sporting Club, Swadhinata Krira Sangha, Friends Social Welfare Organisation, Bangladesh Boys Club, PWD SC and Sadharan Bima Krira Sangstha.
