Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said the government will introduce senior citizen cards for the elderly people of the country aiming to ensure their dignified life.
“There are 1.30 crore old aged people in the country. We are working to provide necessary facilities through providing them senior citizen cards,” he said this recently while speaking at a function in the auditorium of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) at Agargaon in the city.
Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Ministry Foyez Ahmed and Managing Director of PKSF Md Abdul Karim , among others, attended the function with PKSF Chairman Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad in the chair.
