SEML Lecture Equity Management Fund declares 15pc dividend

With a whopping 365.42% increase in its earnings, SEML Lecture Equity Management Fund’s earnings became positive once again. It also declared a 15% cash dividend to its unit holders.
The dividend was declared based on net income and retained earnings for the year ended on June 30, 2021, the fund said in a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Monday.
It also reported earnings per unit (EPU) of Tk2.84 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, as against Tk1.07 in the negative for the same period of the previous financial year.
SEML Lecture Equity Management Fund made its debut on Dhaka Stock Exchange back on January 14, 2016. The fund offered 7% cash dividends to its unit holders back in the year 2019.
During Monday’s trade, the closing price of each of its units was Tk12.2.
