Begum Rokeya University (BRU) arranged a seminar on outdoor activities and higher education opportunities in the United States and various types of scholarships organized by the American Embassy in Berobi on Tuesdayg. Prof. Dr Md. Hasibur Rashid , VC, BRU was present as the Chief Guest at the seminar.
Speaking as the chief guest, the Vice-Chancellor said that the seminar would play a vital role in creating opportunities for study in reputed institutions of higher learning in America. Prof Dr. Md. Hasibur Rashid said if the country’s higher education can be taken to the desired place, it will be easier to build a better Bangladesh and tackle the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Khadija Mahmud, Cultural Affairs Officer at the American Embassy in Dhaka, Raihana Sultana, Education and Academic Exchange Program Specialist, Shaun Karmakar, English Language Program Coordinator, and Education USA Student Adv. Q. M Mushfiqur Hasan gave a detailed account of higher education opportunities in the United States.
