A seminar on ‘ University Education’ held at Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur early on Monday.
The Sociology Dept of the university organised the seminar. BRU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BTFO inaugurated the seminar at university’s Academic Building 3.
Vice-chancellor of the Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Prof Dr AHM Mostafizur Rahman was the chief speaker of the seminar in the presence of Assistant Professor Muhammad Iliyas of the Dept of Sociology.
The chief speaker presented a variety of ideas about university education and research in the seminar. He also said, every teacher of the university should have a life in such a way that each student can engage in the development of the nation by cultivating and caring for his biography and enriching him with higher education.
Teachers of different departments, students were present in the seminar.
