Seminar on ‘Tagorean characterization of women’ held at IU

An International seminar titled “The influence of world literature on the Tagorean characterization of women” was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday.
English department of the university organised the seminar at Birshreshtha Hamidur Rahman central auditorium of the campus.
IU VC Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari addressed as the chief guest while Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman spoke the seminar as special guest.
Tagore scholar and a well-known author Professor Dr Bina Biswas, former head of the English department of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad delivered the keynote speech related with Tagorean characterization of women.
