A day-long international seminar on ‘Field Work in Social Work’ was held at Islamic University (IU), Kushtia on Tuesday.
The event was held at Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman central auditorium of the university organized by IU Social Welfare department around 11:30am.
IU Social Welfare Department Chairman and Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman presided over the occasion while vice-chancellor Prof Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari was present here as chief guest. Treasurer of the university Prof Dr M Selim Toha and its Social Science Faculty Dean Prof Dr Nasim Banu attended as special guests while Prof Dr Mamunur Rahman of English Department delivered welcome speech.
