A scientific seminar on “Metabolic Surgery: Laparoscopic Surgical Treatment for Diabetes Mellitus” was held at Bangladesh Medical College in the city recently.
The programme was organized by Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Bangladesh (SLSB) and sponsored by the ACME Laboratories Limited with participation of renowned general surgeons from different institutions.
Professor Peter Goh from Monash University, Singapore attended the session as the keynote speaker along with Professor Dr Sarder A Nayeem, President SLSB and Professor Dr Mustafizur Rahman, Secretary General, SLSB and other personnel.
Head of the Medical Services and Pharmacovigilance of the ACME laboratories Dr Afroza Akhter and other official of the ACME laboratories were present at the session where more than hundred surgeons took part.
