Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) held a national seminar on “Intellectual Property (IP)” to celebrate the World Intellectual Property Day.
Technology Transfer Office (TTO) BUET organised the seminar on Thursday at BUET Council Building, said a press release.
Vice-Chancellor of BUET Professor Dr. Saiful Islam was present at the programme as the chief guest while Deputy Director of Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) Sohel Ahmed was present as the special guest.
International IP Expert of HEQEP Dr. Aravind Chinchure, Chair of Program in Assistive Technologies Innovation (PATI) Professor Dr. Rezaul Begg, Senior Lecturer of Science and Engineering faculty of Queensland University of Technology Dr. Azharul Karim, Research fellow of Victoria University Institute for Health and Sport (IHES) of Australia Dr. Hanatsu Nagano, were the keynote speakers in the four sessions of the programme.
