A daylong seminar on ‘Governance in Bangladesh and Non State Actors” was held at the senate hall on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Saturday.
JU Government and Politics (JUGP) Department organized the event while Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest.
The seminar was held with five panel discussions while a total of 30 research articles on governance and non-state actors were presented by the scholars.
Executive Director of Citizens for Good Governance Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, Professor of the University of Dhaka Sadeka Halim, Professor of the University of Chittagong Dr Tofail Ahmed and Assistant Editor of the Daily Prothom Alo Mizanur Rahman Khan addressed the function, among others, with chairman of JUGP Department Associate Professor Bashir Ahmed in the chair.
