A seminar on Digital Bangladesh Cyber Security Awareness was held on Friday under the Basic IT Training Project for Marginalized People in Kaliganj Upazila implemented by Profit Foundation in collaboration with Information and Communication Technology Department.
The chief guest was Md. Abdus Sattar Sarkar, Joint Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology. The special guest was Israt Jahan Chhani, Assistant Commissioner Land and Executive Magistrate, Kaliganj Upazila. Kaliganj Assistant Programmer Md. Mostafa Chowdhury, PF Executive Director Nuruzzaman Ahmed, Computer Trainee Mohammad Swadhin Islam and Farzana Afroz, among others were present.
The chief guest called upon the computer trainees to create employment entrepreneurs by demonstrating practical issues and emphasizing them. She considers such activities of the Profit Foundation as a positive role in the employment of educated men and women in the society.
Also present at the time were all the members of the Union Parishad, school-college teachers, students of different schools and colleges, computer trainee imams and others.
