University of Liberal Arts Bangladsesh (ULAB) organized a seminar on Contemporary Bangladeshi Cinema on Thursday. The Center for Advanced Theory (CAT) at ULAB conducted the seminar titled “Film Language and Contemporary Cinema of Bangladesh” where Zahidur Rahman Anjan, a Bangladeshi film director presented the topic. He is also a winner of Bangladeshi National Film Award for Best Director for his direction of the film Meghmallar (2014). The director’s presentation was followed by a lively session of open discussion, participated mostly by professors and students from different universities.
Prof Salimullah Khan, Director of the host organization delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the program.
