Director of National Consumers Right Protection, Kishoreganj District Administration and CAB Jointly arranged a seminar on Consumers Rights Act- 2009 held at local Collectorate Conference Roomyesterday.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas attended as chief guest while ADC (General & DS) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil in the chair. It was addressed among others by ADC (Education & ICT) Golam Md. Bhuiyan, Sadar UNO Abdullah-al-Masud, Principal Professor Rafiqul Islam Khan, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Jail Super Bazlur Rashid, Mohila Somity District Secretary Advocate Maya Bhowmik, District Press Club Secretary Ashraful Islam, Women Chamber Leader Bilkis Begum, Chamber Director Paritosh Pall, Megistrate Abul Hashem and Consumers Right Protection Senior Assistant Director Md. Ibrahim Hossion.
ADC (G) Tarafder Md. Akhter Jamil said the government would take initiative to thwart any digital fraudulence as part of its effort to ensure consumer rights. Following the growing popularity of e-commerce these would be digital fraudulence.
