Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) organized a seminar on cloud technology, a new dimension in computing on its campus, at Mirpur Cantonment in the city on Monday.
Chairman of Pay and Services Commission and former governor of Bangladesh Bank Professor Dr M Farashuddin spoke as the chief guest while Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Professionals Major General Sheikh Mamun Khaled as the special guest.
MIST Commandant Major General Siddiqur Rahman presided over the seminar.
Chief Executive Office of Servicely of Silicon Valley from the USA Engineer Shah Rahman, Senior IT and Business Transformation Expert of Virtustream Incorporation from New York, the USA M Mahadius Zaman and Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department of MIST Group Captain M Afzal Hssain gave separate keynote papers.
The speakers discussed about various aspects of cloud technology that is one of the modern additions to the world of computing.
They observed that if the entrepreneurs will show their interests on cloud technology, it helps a lot to realize the Digital Bangladesh.
