An online seminar on ‘Bangabandhu’s life and work’ for journalists was held here on Monday.
Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) organized the online seminar for the journalists of Jashore, Narail, Chuadanga and Magura districts.
PIB Director General (DG) Zafar Wazed addressed the seminar as the chief guest while PIB trainer Parveen Sultana Rabbi conducted it.
Azizul Islam Bhuiyan, former managing director and chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and Dr. Mohammad Hannan were present at the seminar as resource persons.
Jashore Union of Journalist’s secretary HR Tuhin, joint secretary Tabibur Rahman, BSS correspondent Sultan Mahmood, Sakirul Kabir and others participated at the virtual seminar.
A total of 30 journalists of the four districts participated at the seminar.
