A seminar on ‘Biotechnology in Academia and Industry’ was held at the seminar room of Jahir Raihan auditorium on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus on Saturday.
JU Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (BGE) Department organized the event in association with Inspire Project of British Council.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Dr Farzana Islam addressed the function as the chief guest with Chairman of BGE Department Mohammad Shahedur Rahman in the chair.
JU Treasurer Prof Dr Abul Khair and Dean of Biological Sciences Faculty Prof Dr Abdul Zabber Hawlader addressed the function as special guests, among others.
