Southeast University (SEU) organized a seminar on “Anti-militancy and Counter Terrorism” on last Saturday at its Seminar Hall, Banani in the city.
Vice Chancellor of SEU Prof Dr AFM Mafizul Islam chaired the program while Registrar Major General Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, PSE (Retd) delivered the welcome speech. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Moulana Md. Fahimur Rahman, Khatib, Banani DOHS Jame Masjid, Syed Ishtiaque Reza, Director (News) of Ekattor Television, Mustafiz Shafi, Executive Editor of the Daily Somokal, Eminent Singer of Bangladesh Fakir Alamgir were present as Hon’ble Guests. Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Dean (Acting), School of Science and Engineering and Convener, the Anti-militancy and Counter Terrorism Committee conducted the program.
Registrar of SEU Major General Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed discussed the bad impact of militancy and terrorism in his welcome Speech. He highlighted the cause of militancy and role that to be played by the teachers as well as Students and Guardians to destroy the increase of terrorism. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury highlighted that nobody involve with militancy and terrorist in our university. We can remove all militancy and terrorism from Bangladesh if we do our own duties.
