The Inauguration of “IEEE BUP Student Branch” organized by Department of Information & Communication Technology of Faculty of Science and Technology held on Wednesday at Bijoy Auditorium of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in Mirpur Cantonment. After inauguration, a seminar titled “Connecting the Disconnected Communities in Infrastructures-less Areas using Delay Tolerant Networks” held at the same venue of its campus.
BUP Vice Chancellor Maj Gen Md Salahuddin Miaji, rcds, psc was present as the chief guest in the inauguration. Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section, Professor and Head, EEE, BUET, Dr Quazi DM Khosru was present as special guest. Dr. Khondokar Habibul Kabir, Head In-Charge, Energy and Environmental Center (EEC) IUT presented the keynote paper and Chairman of Department of Information and Communication Technology, Colonel Shameem Ahsan Jaglul, spp, psc moderated the programme.
Among others, BUP Pro VC Prof M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD, BUP high officials, invited guests, BUP teachers, officers and students were present in the seminar.
