A research seminar and workshop was held on Thursday at the Gono Bishwabidyalay in order to train the research students on manuscript writing and using endnote for managing references in the research articles.
Journal Club of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the university organized the seminar.
At least 25 research students were trained first-hand in the seminar on manuscript writing and using endnote for managing references in the research articles.
Dr Asiful Islam, a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Hematology of the Universiti Sains Malaysia, was the main speaker at the seminar, while Dr Fuad Hossain,
Assistant Professor of the Gono Bishwabidyalay, conducted the program.
Among the teachers of the university, Professor Dr Ibrahim Khalil, Dr Mahbuba Khatun, Shyam Sundar Shaha, Shahnaj Rahman, Sheikh Shahidul Islam Joni and Ikhlas Uddin Dipu, among others, were present on the occasion.
At the end of the seminar, certificates were distributed among the students and teachers.
Dr Asiful Islam said, the whole world is looking at the researchers. So, we have to work honestly for human service in accordance with ethics.
