Based on story of a middle class family, NTV is going to telecast a new drama serial titled Family Crisis, directed by Mostafa Kamal Raj, from tonight. Story of the serial is also written by director Raj. Earlier Raj made a popular drama serial for NTV titled Postgraduate.
Shahiduzzaman Selim and Runa Khan again acted in role of husband and wife in the serial.
Both Selim and Runa are hailed from Tangail. For this reason, besides acting, they have an intimacy between them.
They also used their regional language during break time of shooting in the serial. Earlier they not only worked together in role of husband-wife but also in role of siblings. Viewers always impress about their acting. Director Raj believes that viewers will be also impressed about their acting in the serial Family Crisis.
While talking about acting in Raj’s new serial Selim told this correspondent, “Story of Raj’s serial is nice. Raj has made the serial cordially and sincerely. As the story is nice so I believe viewers will surely enjoy the serial.”
Runa Khan said, “For the first time, I am working under Raj’s direction. It is very organised unit. So, I am enjoying a lot working in this serial. Selim Bhai is one of the reputed actors of our country. To work with him, is really not only a great achievement for me but also joyful matter. In the serial, Sarika Saba named a newcomer actress is acting. She is doing well. I am really optimistic about the serial Family Crisis.”
Director Raj also informed that the serial Family Crisis will be aired on NTV at 9:40pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
On the other hand, Runa Khan also informed that she yesterday returned to Dhaka from Kuakata after taking part in shooting of ongoing serial Jolputro. In this serial, Runa is also acting with Shahiduzzaman Selim.
