Selim R F Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank Limited and Dr. Md. Mafizur Rahman, Managing Director of SME Foundation, exchanging document after signing an agreement at a function held in the capital recently. Under the deal, SME Foundation will provide Tk200 crore to the participating banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs). Out of the total fund, BRAC Bank alone will avail Tk 50 crore which will be disbursed to the entrepreneurs at a subsidized rate of 4%. Top officials from both sides were present.
