Md. Ashraful Islam (Kobi Selim Bala), BNP central leader and Joint Secretary of Bangladesh-Jatiyotabadi Sangskritik Jote is considered as a popular candidate for Mymensingh-3 (Gouripur) Constituency and he is likely to get the nomination from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) .
Local sources said, he has submitted his nomination form as an aspirant of BNP to contest the forthcoming general election scheduled to be held on December 30.
Kobi Selim Bala is a popular at the grass root level and among the activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Mymensingh-3 (Gouripur) Constituency. He has dedicated his life towards establishing the freedom of speech and rights of the people of this constituency. He established Saida Foundation. He helped to establish Mukhuriya Technical & Business Management College.
Joint Secretary of Bangladesh-Jatiyotabadi Sangskritik Jote Md. Ashraful Islam (Kobi Selim Bala) told The New Nation “I belong to the ideology of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman” and that he will hope to win the seat if he gets the party ticket to contest the election,” His supporters also said he had kept himself always busy with development activities for the people of this constituency and he had also been financially helping the poor people, local clubs, institutions and religious organizations.
The local BNP leaders said , Kobi Selim Bala deserves BNP nomination.
