“Aruna Biswas came into acting before me. It is really difficult for me to evaluate her acting quality. She is a talented actress. It is comfortable that I have been working with her in a TV serial,” noted actor and play director Shahiduzzaman Selim said this while talking about anoted noted actress and director Aruna Biswas.
For the first time, Aruna Biswas and Shahiduzzaman Selim are working together in a drama serial. They will be shown as childhood lovers on the screen in the serial. Directed by Fazlur Rahman they are acting in serial titled Jibon-er Oli Goli.
In matured age, stories of their lives became changed. But still they love each other. This serial is being aired on ATN Bangla every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:20pm.
While talking about the serial Aruna Biswas told this correspondent over mobile phone from Canada, “My today’s talk can be started with my intimate friend film actress Diti. I pray to God for her early recovery. Shahiduzzaman Selim is a renowned actor. I am working with him. I am really enjoying acting.”
Right now Aruna is staying in Canada with her son Shuddho.
On the other hand, in last Eid, Selim’s acting in role of a turning hero in the story of Tonmoy Tansen’s directed movie Podmo Patar Jol was highly appreciated by the viewers.
Earlier his acting in Alvi Ahmed’s movie U-Turn was also appreciated.
Meanwhile, Aruna’s two telefilms – Laddu and Othoba Prem Noito Bhalobasha – were aired in last Eid-ul-Fitr.
