Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty announces $100m fund for mental health services

Popular singer Selena Gomez’s makeup company Rare Beauty launched the Rare Impact Fund on her 28th birthday on Wednesday. The beauty company plans to raise $100 million to provide mental health services to underserved communities, reported by Hollywood Reporter.
One percent of all sales and funds raised from partners will be dedicated to the Rare Impact Fund. The sole purpose of the fund is to provide communities with access to mental health services. Specially, communities where mental health support is unavailable.
Selena Gomez in a statement said, “I’m so grateful to be surrounded by a team that’s helped make the Rare Impact Fund a reality,” Gomez said in a press release.
