Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive detained Secretary General of Zia Cyber Force from the city’s Gulistan area on Friday for allegedly spreading rumours on social media recently.
The arrested man has been identified as KM Harun Or Rashid, Administrator of Zia Cyber Force, a Facebook page, said Lt Commander Ashekur Rahman, Company Commander of RAB.

He said, “After a long time, KM Harun Or Rashid
has been picked up from Gulistan area on Friday (December 7) morning.
Earlier, several other members of Zia Cyber Force, a Facebook-based group, had been arrested.
A case has been filed with the Paltan Police Station in this connection, he added.
