The law enforcing agencies have tightened the security around 500 Buddhist temple after getting IS threat of arms attack ahead of celebrating ‘Shuvo Buddhu Purnima’ in hill tract cites scheduled to be held on May 18.
The intelligence agencies have been prepared to meet the emergencies to avert any untoward incident, said Alamgir Hossain, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Rangmati, in a briefing after holding a meeting in his office on Sunday.
We have taken decision to set up a good number of checking posts in all vital points round the clock, the police official said.
Additional Police were deployed in the district so that no miscreant gets any chance to create anarchy, he said.
