The general students of Comilla University (CoU) are suffering from insecurity due to the threatening of the local goons. The students always have to face the sitution or to lose their precious wealth or even to fear for their lives. This has become a common picture at the university area and incidents like snatching occurring at daylight.
Riku Chakma, a student of Economics Department faced a group of snatchers infront of the VC Banglow on Wednesday morning. The Snatchers tried to snatch his laptop showing fear by pistol and other fire arms. Somehow, he was able to escape and entered the VC Banglow. Later, he gave an application to the proctor for safety. The proctorial body rushed to the spot immediately and promised to investigate the incident. “The university authority is concerned about the incident and we hope to give punishment to the miscreants” stated Ainul Haque, the Proctor of the university.
