Distirct Police and agencies arranged a special law and order conference ahead of the Durga Puja in the SP’s office conference room on Thursday noon.
Police Super of Kishoreganj Md. Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) presided over the meeting.
Kishoreganj District Police charted out a plan for special security during the Durga Puja in the district.
Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) on Thursday said that foolproof security had been been taken in the district town and 13 upazilas centering the Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the country’s Hindu Community”.
It was addressed among others by Deputy Director of RAB Lt.Commonder BN Shovan Khan, Additional SP Mizanur Rahman, PP Advocate Shah Azizul Haque, GP amd Hindu Community leader Advocate Bijoy Roy, District Puja Udjjapon Porished President Adv Dolon Bhowmick, Principal Professor (Retd.) Rabindranath Chowhdury, Retired Headmaster Freedom Fighter Usha Rani Devi, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Mohila Parishad District PresidentbAdvocate Maya Bhowhmic, and District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal
At least 368 Puja mandaps CCTV surveillance systems will be installed in important Puja Mandop as a pant of the security measures. The law enforcers will also remain alert to detect eve teasers.
S.P noted that devotees will have to enter to avoid any unwanted incident.
