Kishoreganj District Administration has beefed up security for visitors, especially foreigners, Government offices, NGO offices, State run Oil depot in Bhairab Port, Port terminal, Railway Stations, Bhairb Railway Bridge, Syed Nazrul Islam Bridge (Meghna Bridge), Power Station, CNG Station, Gas field, Judge court, hospitals and establishment.
A meeting of law and order review committee was held at Local Collectorate Conference room with District Megistate GSM Zafarullah in the chair. Police Super Md. Anower Hossain Khan, A.D.M hamim Ahmed, RAB- 14 Deputy Director Mejor Readul Islam, Special Megisrate Abu Taher Sayed, Additional S.P Syed Abu Sayem, UNO’s and others intelligence officers were present in the meeting.
Police Super Anower Hossain Khan said , instruction has been issued to all police stations to provide highest security of the foreigners in their workplaces and residences in Kishoreganj district. Police also asked the local residential hotels to sent the list foreign boarders immediate after his cheek in.
He said all police posts, thanas, D.B and Special branches have been alerted about the foreign movement.
As part of other security measures, RAB would set up close-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, spy sunglass, counterfeit currency detestation machines at important establishments.
