The two-day second Science Festival-2016 began on Friday at Shahid Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar Girls College in Dhaka Cantonment.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Advocate Mostafizur Rahman inaugurated it as chief guest.
The co-education programme like the science festival is very much important for proper mental growth of students, the minister said adding that such kind of programme should to be continued for their betterment.
It was addressed, among others, by chief patron of the college and Acting Logistics Area Commander Brig. Gen. M Nurul Momen Khan and Principal of the college Col. M Rashidul Islam Khan.
A total of 25 educational institutes participated in it.
