All educational institutions will remain closed till May 30, on the occasion of Ramzan and Eid-ul-Fitr, said secondary and higher education secretary Mahbub Hossain. “We will have an order soon regarding the matter,” Mahbub told The New Nation on Tuesday afternoon.All educational institutions have been closed since March 17, and the government has now extended the closure till May 16, in a bid to contain urther spread of Covid-19.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on April 27 said all educational institutions may remain closed till September if the situation caused by the coronavirus outbreak does not improve.
