A schoolgirl has allegedly been raped repeatedly by a union parishad employee at Kola union of Sirajdikhan upazila.
Victim alleged that Sajid, 25, holding plate distributor of the union parishad and resident of Betka village in Tongibari upazila, raped her at the rest room of the UP chairman for the past six months promising to marry her.
He also recorded the incident in his mobile phone and threated to upload it on the internet if she disclosed it, the victim, a Class-VIII student, alleged.
However, the video got circulated on social networking site Facebook recently.
Officer-in-charge of Sirajdikhan Police Station Md Abul Kalam said no complaint was lodged over the matter. “Legal steps will be taken after getting written complaint from the victim,” he said.
