Police recovered hanging body of a schoolgirl from her house at Radhanagar village in Kalapahari union of Araihazar upazila on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Sazeda, 14, a class VII student of Radhanagar High School and daughter of late Soleman Mia of the village.
Sub-inspector Khaled Hasan, in-charge of Khagkanda police camp, said police suspected Sazeda took own life by hanging herself with beam of her room centering love affair. Alamgir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Araihazar police station, said the incident is mysterious and it could be cleared after autopsy report.
