UNB, Dhaka :
A schoolgirl died as she reportedly fell from a multi-storey building in the city’s Mohakhali area on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Akhi Akter, 14, a Class-VIII student of UCEF School of Mohammadpur in the city. She used to live with her parents near the school.
Quoting victim’s relatives, sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said Akhi went to visit her paternal aunt’s house in Mohakhali TB Gate area.
She reportedly slipped from the 7th floor of the high rise in the afternoon and received multiple injuries.
Doctors declared her dead when she was taken to the DMCH around 5:00 pm.
