Schoolboy killed in a planned way, claims DB

The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) claimed that the murder of Ayaz Haque, 15, a student of Government Laboratory High School, was planned one.
The DB’s Joint-Commissioner Monirul Alam said it in a press briefing at DB Media Centre in the capital on Friday noon.
According to the primary investigation report, Senior police officer disclosed, the killing of Ayaz was planned before hand.
The sword, which was used in killing Ayaz, was bought from a shop of one Firoj Uddin at Baitul Mukarram Market in the city’s Paltan area.  
Firoj, the owner of the shop, confessed that Injamamul Islam Zishan, 20, and Touhidul Islam Hasan, 17, 2nd year students of Business Studies Department of City College, bought the sword from his
shop before committing the murder, he said. Monirul further said that police arrested six people in this connection and the Metropolitan Magistrate Tasruzzaman granted five-day remand of Zishan and Touhid though the investigation officer of the case Mohammad Mohidul Islam sought 10-day remand.
It has been known, Ayaz was stabbed to death during a clash between two groups of college students over a football match at Jigatola in the capital on June 9. The clash that broke out in front of the college soon spread to nearby Jigatola.
Ayaz was with his elder brother Arzeen, a student of City College, who was present on the spot. The severely wounded boy was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries around 6:00pm on the fateful day.
