Schoolboy Kirsten Kalicharan hit an unbeaten 404.
Kalicharan played for Bishnu Boys Hindu College in a quarterfinal match of Powergen Secondary School Cricket League (Under-14) at Port of Spain in West Indies recently. He played against Valencia High School.
Kalicharan reached the 100-run land mark playing just 35 balls. He hit 44 boundaries and 31 over boundaries.
Bishnu Boys Hindu College scored 548 runs in 35 overs thanks to Kalicharan, who played the key role for his team to score a mammoth total.
In reply, Valencia High School were dismissed for 89 runs and conceded a 459-run defeat.
He broke the record of Brian Charles Lara in May of 2013.
He scored 194 including 26 fours and six sixers.
Earlier, Brian Charles Lara hit 168 in the Secondary School Cricket League.
